Despite stories in the media about failing ICT projects and frustrated clients, IT outsourcing-services provider Schuberg Philis shows that it doesn’t have to be this way. For the sixth year in a row Schuberg Philis has been recommended by one hundred percent of its customers, according to the Giarte Outsourcing Performance Survey.
For both standard and non-standard services (i.e. responding to unscheduled events) Schuberg Philis received a score of 9.2, compared with a market average of 7.2 (for standard services) and 5.9 (for non-standard services).
This is the tenth year in a row that the company has received the highest customer satisfaction score for Infrastructure Management in the Netherlands.
Pim Berger, managing director of Schuberg Philis: “The reason we score so high is that we put together expert teams that are committed and take responsibility for projects from start to finish. These self-steering teams work closely with the customer’s own experts and they themselves decide what promises they are able to make. It turns out that they are very capable of successfully completing complex IT projects. In the last ten years Schuberg Philis has delivered more than 1000 ICT projects, almost all of them on time and within budget. So you see it’s not impossible, both in a corporate context and for government.”
The 2015 Outsourcing Performance is based on assessments of outsourcing-services providers by CIOs and IT executives from the top 500 Dutch companies and large public organisations. The survey covers 957 outsourcing contracts with a total contract value of €3.5 billion.
Pim Berger: “In everything they do the main goal of our people aim is to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. We’re well known for our intensive commitment, taking one hundred percent responsibility for projects and our ability to understand the business context of our customers. In addition, innovation and automation of standard processes is high on our agenda. We deliver safe, advanced, virtually turnkey IT systems.
We increasingly use smart software to deal with standard issues, so that we can focus on those problems for which there is as yet no solution. Customers appreciate our drastically reduced development times plus the fact that we offer more and more functionality at lower cost.”
