At Schuberg Philis we love to keep track of the latest and greatest tech that comes from Silicon Valley and our public cloud partners, so we can always pick the right tool for the job in the complex mission-critical ecosystems. In our dream projects we can seamlessly integrate the newest tech into an existing landscape to create high quality environments that last.
We have multiple customer teams that are AWS focused, but working on different areas. As an AWS Engineer you will be part of one of these multidisciplinary teams where you will focus on building AWS landing zones. Refactoring, deploying and running the platform will be part of your responsibilities as well. In addition, you will maintain the platforms we have built for our customers, support the CI/CD pipelines and developers. You will also manage the AWS landing zones with supportive tooling and coding. Automation is very important since we want as little operational work as technically possible, for both ourselves and the customer.
Who are we looking for?
In this role, you will have a lot of fun if you have the following experience:
- Experience in a complex engineering environment, preferably in mission critical environments
- Relevant experience with operations in AWS environments
- Hands-on experience in automation and applying cloud native infrastructure and/or configuration management tooling (Puppet, Ansible), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD (Gitlab CI, Jenkins)
- Experience with Kubernetes
Nice to have: Go, Vault, Splunk, Datadog and many more.
