Schuberg Philis is looking for an ambitious and self-starting Commercial Director based in the Stockholm area, with a significant network in the financial services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, creating, and developing new business opportunities and customers relationships within the Nordic financial sector, thereby driving the growth of our organization in this vital region.

As you will work predominantly with customers in the financial services sector, topics such as compliance, regulation, security, and trust are at the heart of every engagement. By doing so, we not only build lasting partnerships, but also contribute to safeguarding the reputation and integrity of our clients. The ideal candidate

To initiate, guide, and accelerate this growth, we are seeking for a commercial leader, with a strong and relevant network within the financial services market, who can set the direction for expansion, people who will help grow our impact with customers and in the market and help build the most outstanding ICT service provider in the Nordics market and beyond. The role features a broad range of responsibilities, matched by a clear mandate to act. We believe that context and empowerment are key to delivering high customer satisfaction. We seek a personality with the following traits:

  • Visionary: As a Commercial Director, you can identify the real business needs behind clients’ IT inquiries. Your creativity and vision allow you to define new initiatives that reflect the value of our expertise and technology for our clients.
  • Knowledge-Driven: With a background in IT, you understand the necessity and impact of digital transformation and can engage in consultative discussions at board level. You have in-depth knowledge of key value propositions such as Cloud, Data & AI, Security, and Software Development, and are able to articulate the value of these domains to customers. Familiarity with corporate compliance and regulatory frameworks is a plus. You are curious and eager to quickly understand a client’s market and business.
  • Relationship Builder: You are skilled at developing relationships and naturally connect with others. Your expertise, curiosity, and empathy serve you well.
  • Flexible Communicator: You adapt your communication style to the situation, connect easily at all levels, and can inspire, listen, challenge, and lead. You have excellent proficiency in both Swedish and English.
  • Leadership: As Commercial Director, you take responsibility for the growth and development of both existing and new customer relationships. Together with the Customer Director Delivery, you set the strategic direction with the virtual customer team, make clear agreements, and ensure top quality within those agreements. You bring out the best in your colleagues, both guiding and collaborating intensively to achieve top results. You are strong on content, pragmatic, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • Analytical: You are content-driven and analytical, multidisciplinary in your thinking and actions, able to switch gears quickly, and skilled at spotting and acting on patterns. Your intuition is sound, and you remain curious about (new) theories and data-driven decision making.
