In your role as a Data Engineer, you will join our Data Services Team - a multidisciplinary, self-steering group dedicated to evolving our operational and financial systems. Our vision is to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions and products that empower self-service analytics, support data-driven decision-making, and foster innovation, efficiency, and satisfaction at SBP - all within a rapidly scaling environment.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer who is eager to take ownership, collaborate closely with peers, and drive projects forward.
In this role, you will thrive if you bring the following experience and attributes:

Deep knowledge of AWS, particularly data services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and Athena;

Proficiency in Python and SQL, including familiarity with the broader data library ecosystem;

End-to-end understanding of ETL processes;
-
Hands-on experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow (or similar platforms);
-
Solid experience with Dimension Modeling and building scalable analytical data solutions;
-
Experience with modern CI/CD tools and workflows (preferably Git);

Background in Platform Engineering and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform);

Self-starter that likes to take end-to-end initiative and responsibility

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have:

Experience implementing or supporting Data Quality, Reliability, and Observability practices;

Exposure to or interest in data architecture design;

Familiarity with data governance or security best practices.
