Automation Engineer

Are you ready to transform a complex landscape through automation?

Full-time Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands 32-40 hours

Please note: We are not able to consider candidates who are not living and working in the Netherlands. At this moment we are not providing relocation sponsorships.

What if your engineering know-how and passion for automation could help world-leading organizations run smoother, smarter, and more securely without being boxed in as “just” an ops or security specialist?

We are seeking passionate engineers focused on automation to join one of our self-steering customer teams. Here, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts who take full responsibility for a customer environment to ensure our 100% customer satisfaction. We handle complex systems that are business-critical using the latest technologies. The team is responsible for the Plan, Build and Run phases of the environment and takes care of the full stack. Private cloud, public cloud operating systems, storage, networking, monitoring, automation, technical application management, security, compliancy, we handle it all in the team. No silos here!

How You’ll Make a Difference:

  • Partner, Don’t Police: Become the trusted advisor for teams, spot where things can work better, uncover hidden risks, and help roll out improvements that keep businesses running and users delighted.
  • Automate Everything: Build solutions, not red tape. Use your scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) and automation (Terraform, CI/CD, Ansible) skills to turn manual drudgery into elegant, repeatable code.
  • Modernize at Scale: Help bridge the gap between old-school infra and the latest cloud-native practices, building agile, secure, and resilient application landscapes.
  • Solve, Don’t Just Support: Each day brings a new challenge: simplifying access, improving connectivity, eliminating friction between platforms, or enhancing monitoring and reliability. You’re not just a “firefighter”, you’re an architect of seamless operations.
  • Shape What’s Next: Your insights shape standards, inspire smarter workflows, and even influence how new solutions are adopted across the enterprise.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • You have hands-on experience with automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting languages) and love turning ideas into code.
  • You’ve supported large-scale IT environments (Windows, Linux, cloud, hybrid) and thrive in multidisciplinary teams.
  • You communicate confidently with both techies and business owners, translating requirements into real, pragmatic improvements.
  • You have a growth mindset, keen to experiment, learn, and share, both in successes and the lessons from hiccups.
  • You enjoy variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on both complex problems and everyday optimizations.

Extra Credit if You Bring:

  • Experience in network, identity, or access management (but you’re not required to be a “security expert”)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or modern DevOps pipelines
  • A track record of rolling out meaningful, user-focused improvements big or small

You know how to create value, and we empower you to do just that.
