As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will focus on scaling and maintaining business-critical websites and platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll contribute your expertise in infrastructure and automation, empowering developers to deploy changes in minutes, without barriers. You’ll ensure our platforms seamlessly absorb millions of users, no matter the demand—delivering scalable solutions that just work.

What you’ll do

  • Work in a multidisciplinary team that designs, builds, and maintains secure, highly available platforms on GCP
  • Build and maintain platforms for our customers, support the CI/CD pipelines and the developer teams. Automation is key since we want as little operational work as technically possible.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and automation tools that support our cloud-based applications. Collaborate across teams - including developers, testers, and customers - to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
  • Leverage both GCP and AWS services, alongside open-source tools
  • Drive continuous improvement in our DevOps practices

What makes you a great fit

  • Experienced in automating and running a large-scale operational environment
  • Relevant experience with operations in GCP environments, and AWS or Azure
  • Experience with container technologies: Kubernetes
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell and Terraform
  • Experience with container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm
