DUFAS event

06 October 2026 — Schuberg Philis Schiphol-Rijk

Sovereignty sounds like a policy word until you trace it back to something concrete: who can access your data, what happens when a provider is suddenly cut off, whether you can still make your own decisions when the ground shifts under you.

For asset managers, that ground includes the technology and data providers behind the scenes. Most of them foreign. That works fine until it doesn't, and by then it's usually too late to ask the question.

On 6 October, together with DUFAS, we're spending an afternoon on exactly this. Dr. Davis Ellison from The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies opens with the geopolitical context, AFM and DNB bring the supervisory view, and we close with what digital sovereignty actually requires in practice. At our office in Schiphol-Rijk, drinks after.

Exclusively for DUFAS members.
