At Schuberg Philis we love to keep track of the latest and greatest tech that comes from Silicon Valley and our public cloud partners, so we can always pick the right tool for the job in the complex mission-critical ecosystems. In our dream projects we can seamlessly integrate the newest tech into an existing landscape to create high quality environments that last.
We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer that is comfortable with taking ownership of network layers and infrastructure, someone that can design and provide expert driven solutions optimized for given constraints. Our team is responsible for running our customers' mission critical applications on hybrid environments we design, build and and maintain using both public and private cloud. We use a mixture of logical, virtual and physical infrastructure components to fully integrate these environments and leverage our infrastructures to get the best results for our customers' applications.
As a Network Automation Engineer, you can drill down on anything related to networking and infrastructure elements. Automation is part of your everyday thinking. You will be focusing on ensuring stability of the customer environment, which means taking ownership of operations and how we handle those, for instance security incidents, planning changes and preparing for audits.
Are you just as passionate about networking and automation as we are and have you grown your skills for several years in a challenging environment? Then we are looking forward to meeting you!
Our ideal candidate looks like this:
- Proven track record as a Network Engineer
- Solid troubleshooting skills: able to root out performance challenges across a complex landscape and to remediate security issues
- Experience with either Cisco or Arista networks, in combination with F5
- Experience with automation
- Bringing along public cloud experience (Azure or AWS) would be a preference
If you have experience on network architecture design but would like to further develop this, we can definitely accommodate this!
