Software Engineer - .NET

Full-time Schiphol-Rijk, North Holland, Netherlands 32-40 uur

As a Senior Software Engineer .NET, you will be involved in end-to-end development from intake to deployment, design, build, and implement frontend and backend API’s that allow the definition and integration of all processes. You will join a customer team with lots of opportunities to grow on a technical, functional, and personal level.

We are looking for a new colleague with an open mind and a genuine passion for backend services development and integration.  Next to your strong technical skills, we are looking for someone who can seamlessly bridge the gap between our customers and the engineering teams. In this multifaceted role, you will be at the forefront of customer interactions. You will also take ownership of team dynamics, fostering a collaborative work environment. Your exceptional planning and organizational skills will be vital for project management, and your strong communication and leadership abilities will be the driving force in connecting with both our customer and our team, all in the pursuit of delivering outstanding results.

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Knowledge of software architecture analysis and design
  • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining high quality software products & services 
  • Ability to write high-quality, reusable, and testable code for backend systems and frontend API’s within an event-driven architecture
  • Experience with best practices and principles, such as TDD, BDD, SOLID, and design patterns
  • Experience with test automation frameworks; identifying, designing, and implementing tools
  • Experience with .NET Core (C#) and Web Api (C#)
  • Experience with Azure (cloud native) services such as Azure App Service Plans, API management, data factory, monitor, app insights)

What would be a great plus for us?

  • Experience with on-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure or other)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep)
  • Experience with large distributed systems
  • Experience with scrum, agile and DevOps
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and tools (e.g. SonarQube, renovate, AZDO, GitHub, unit testing)
  • Experience in regulated environments
