Full-time Schiphol-Rijk 32-40 uur

Please note: We are not able to consider candidates who are not living and working in the Netherlands. At this moment we are not providing relocation sponsorships.

Are you a seasoned T-shaped engineer with a strong background in Windows, who recognizes the shift from traditional infrastructure to software? If you thrive on innovative problem-solving and thinking beyond the conventional, this opportunity might be perfect for you!

We are seeking passionate Windows Engineers focused on automation to join one of our customer teams. Here, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team where each team member directly interacts with the customer, making decisions based on logic and efficiency. We handle complex systems, time-critical interfaces, and business-critical platforms using the latest technologies. Collaboration with highly skilled engineers is encouraged to foster knowledge sharing and growth.

As a Windows Engineer, you'll support the customer’s functional management team, ensuring their business satisfaction while continuously seeking improvements. You'll maintain platform security, ensure it is up-to-date and available, and engage in both critical operations and project work. Automation is key, so you'll focus on scripting and creating CI/CD pipelines, and utilize configuration management tools. A significant challenge will be automating applications in the existing customer landscape using tools like Terraform and Chef.

Who are we looking for?

We prefer candidates deeply rooted in the Windows ecosystem who have witnessed the transformative impact of software on infrastructure.

Ideally, you have experience with:

  • Windows Server 2019 / 2022 (High Availability Clustering)
  • Virtualization techniques (VMware / Hyper-V)
  • Windows Server Active Directory Domain Services
  • PowerShell/Ruby/etc. scripting (Automation)
  • Tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes

It would be nice if you also bring some experience in the area of:

  • Azure Public Cloud
  • Azure Stack HCI / Hyper-V
  • Configuration Management (e.g., Chef/Ansible)
  • Networking
  • Linux knowledge

We expect you to be enthusiastic about technology and deeply interested in the customer’s business and application landscape managed by your team. If your goal is not only to implement solutions but also to enhance stability and performance while prioritizing security, we would love to hear from you!
