Full-time Schiphol-Rijk 32-40 hours

We are a leading engineering company delivering mission critical IT solutions. We place our experts in the lead combining 100% customer satisfaction and a people-centered approach.

As a Windows Engineer you will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will focus on several applications and their underlying infrastructure. Your main focus will be on the core application that is central and critical to the business of our customer. The environment is in constant development, which means we are continually building and improving the platform and the ecosystem around it. In addition to the Windows environment, we are also in the lead on the AWS environment, which means this role provides you the opportunity to step into the world of serverless public cloud.

What will you be doing?

As a Windows Engineer, you are involved in keeping the platform and its applications secure, up to date and available. In addition to critical operations, quite some projects are running, like IAM processes being automated with Okta workflows.

Automation is important. To keep up, you automate as much as possible by scripting and creating CI/CD pipelines. You build OS images using Packer and will configure, deploy and maintain several services using Terraform, PowerShell and other tools. The services include everything to both keep the core application up and running and allow our end users to connect to it, like: AWS managed Active Directory service, NLB-, WAF- and API-gateway services, database instances running SQL server or MongoDB.

Who are we looking for?

For this role, we are looking for someone with a solid background in Windows environments, with a strong interest in public cloud:

  • The Microsoft stack has no secrets for you: Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), SQL Server, IIS
  • You use PowerShell scripting for deployments
  • You have experience in running applications in Windows environments
  • You have affinity with Identity and Access Management (IAM), preferably Okta
  • You have an interest in public cloud and would like to make the step towards becoming an AWS Engineer

Does this sound like you? We are looking forward to meeting you!

Everyone we work with and consider working with has a right to equal treatment. The hiring and appraisal process at Schuberg Philis is designed to be thorough and equitable, implementing fair payment, benefits, and opportunities across all demographics.

It is our desire to be a company that brings together multiple nationalities, cultures, religions, genders, abilities, and talents within and across our teams. We welcome colleagues from diverse backgrounds to join Schuberg Philis and actively support diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
